Preparing your Hanvey BVE for the cold season.

Here are a few steps to ensure your Hanvey is ready for cooler temperatures!

It's time to turn on your Space Heater! Turn the dial clockwise to turn it on. Turn it at least halfway from the starting point. It may not click on if the temperature in the salon space is high; however, it's important to remember to turn off the K9-II by the Air Bulb! If the Air Bulb isn't used correctly, the Space Heater won't turn on! Keep the Space Heater on until the end of the season, just set it and forget it!. 

At the end of your workday, plug in the Everwarm and Fast Charger every night. This warms the Fresh Water tank and maintains the Space Heater, providing ambient warmth.

Ensure you have access to the VRM Portal and that notifications are set to “ON.” This will alert you if the batteries are low. 

Are you going away for a winter vacation? Then it's time to winterize! Winterization is needed when the van will sit for more than two days unplugged. Winterization includes purging the system of water and turning off the batteries. (Don’t forget to remove your shampoo and other liquids as they may freeze!)
